Program Descriptions

Circle Time
Infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers will have fun rhyming and moving with Miss Char. With a focus on repetition, children build their repertoire each week of rhymes, both old and new.

Book Share Group
The Book Share Group meets the first Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the library. The group meets for one hour. During that time each person takes a turn talking about their books. Attending Book Share group is a great way to hear about books you might not hear of otherwise.

Great Books Discussions
The Great Books Discussion Group meets every other Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the library. The readings are from the Great Books Foundation anthologies and the Foundation format is followed. At every meeting an assigned reading is discussed. The discussion is always challenging and thought provoking.
Stop in at the library to borrow a copy of the current anthology. Since each discussion is complete and each meeting has a new reading, it is easy to join the group even if you are unable to attend every discussion.

Story Hour
Stories, songs, puppets, crafts, and more. All ages welcome. Times vary. Please check the calendar above for the next story hour.

Tech Tuesdays
A library staff member will be available to help you with your library related technology issues. Learn how to download ebooks and audiobooks to your personal devices. Or, learn how to use the library's local newspaper archive. We are happy to help with non-library related questions to the best of our "techie's" ability.

Spanish Conversation Group
Join us for an evening of conversation in Spanish! Come and practice your language skills and meet other Spanish speakers.

Join us in a unique atmosphere for a lively literary discussion. The program uses the Great Books Foundation sampler "The 7 Deadly Sins." The program meets the fourth Monday of each month and each month (January - April) we will explore one of the book's themes. This program meets at the brewery and is for ages 21 and up. Discounts available to those with an active library card from any library. Purchase not necessary to participate. The readings are selected by the Great Books Foundation. Print copies of the short readings are available at the library and the library's homepage.
