Upcoming Events

Circle Time
Mondays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers will have fun rhyming and moving with Miss Char. With a focus on repetition, children build their repertoire each week of rhymes, both old and new.

Story Time
Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (June 25th through August 6th)

Encourage early literacy, foster a lifelong love of reading, and have fun. Children of all ages are welcome at Story Time with Miss Charlotte.

Tech Tuesdays
Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00

A library staff member will be available to help you with your library related technology issues. Learn how to download ebooks, and audiobooks to your personal device. Learn how to search the library's digitzed newspaper collection. Non-library related tech issues will be addressed as time allows.

Book Share by the Bay
Monday, June 22nd from 7 to 8 pm

Book Share is an “Any Book Book Club” format, so there is no required reading. Readers come together to share their newest readings or old favorites. Book Share is a great way to meet other book lovers and to learn about books you may otherwise miss. This program meets outside on the library’s patio, so food and drink are allowed.

Spanish Conversation Group
June 30th at 7 p.m.
Last Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Join us for an evening of conversation in Spanish. Practice your language skills and meet other Spanish speakers.

Breakfast Book Share
Wednesday, July 15th from 9 am to 10 am

Bring your own coffee or tea and talk about books. Share what you have read recently and find out what fellow community members have been reading. This is a great way to discover new books!

Joel Tacey's Super Caper Comedy Show
Thursday, July 16th at 7:00 p.m.

FLY, POW, and LEAP into reading with Sidekick Joel! Help unlock the secrets of 2 mysterious crystals which give and takeaway incredible super-powers, as Sidekick Joel brings several super-duper books to life. Comedy, magic, music, and lots of audience participation highlight this exciting, wholesome youth program that will have kids and grown-ups laughing out loud and crazy about reading!

BSDL Board Meeting
Wednesday, July 8th at 9:30 a.m.

Board meetings are open to the public. Agenda is available at the library.


Annual Library Booksale
Saturday, August 15th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donations for the sale will be accepted up to two weeks before the sale.
