Food for Fines 2014 From Thanksgiving to New Year's Day you may bring non-perishable grocery items to the library and have your fines ERASED! (does not include books for which you have been billed)

Circle Time
Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Infants and toddlers and their parents/caregivers will have fun rhyming and moving with Miss Char. With a focus on repetition, children build their repertoire each week of rhymes, both old and new.

Tech Tuesdays
Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00

A library staff member will be available to help you with your library related technology issues. Learn how to download ebooks, and audiobooks to your personal device. Learn how to search the library's digitzed newspaper collection. Non-library related tech issues will be addressed as time allows.

Great Books Discussion Group
Alternating Thursdays from 3:30 -4:30 p.m.

Join our Great Books Discussion Group. Copies of the current readings are available at the circulation desk, or available online (see links below). Upcoming Dates and readings:
November 20: Perpetual Peace: A Philosophical Sketch by Immanuel Kant
December 4: The Chilean Earthquake by Heinrich von Kleist
December 18: Where I Lived, and What I Lived For (from Walden) by Henry David Thoreau

Book Share Group
Wednesday, November 19th at 9:00 a.m.

This program lasts approximately one hour. During that time each person takes a turn talking about books they have recently read. Attending Book Share Group is a great way to hear about books you might otherwise miss.

Spanish Conversation Group
Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00 p.m.

An evening of conversation in Spanish! Please join us to practice your language skills and to meet other Spanish speakers.

BSDL Board Meeting
Wednesday, December 10th at 9:30 a.m.

Board meetings are open to the public. Agenda is available at the library.
